We are looking for a high-energy Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead the expansion of Airtel’s QR and Soundbox ecosystem. This is a massive-scale distribution role requiring a leader who excels in high-volume merchant acquisition and multi-tier team management.
Team Leadership: Must have managed at least 7 Active Territory Sales Managers (TSMs).
Span of Control: Proven experience overseeing a hierarchy where each TSM manages 15–25 Field Sales Executives (FSEs).
Experience: 3–5 years in an ASM or equivalent Sales Leadership role.
Sector: Strong preference for Telecom, FMCG, or Fintech (Payment Aggregators).
Core Skills: Market penetration, productivity tracking, and the ability to drive high-volume daily acquisition targets.
Key Responsibilities
Execution: Drive daily/weekly acquisition targets for QR and Soundbox deployment.
Mentorship: Supervise and train TSMs to ensure FSE productivity remains above benchmark.
Strategy: Identify untapped markets and coordinate with regional management for rapid execution.
Reporting: Maintain rigorous performance tracking and field support systems.
